Upper Room Fellowship celebrated its 4th Yr anniversary with 104 in attendance Oct 12th at Holy Trinity UCC! The URF is a fellowship of UCC laypersons promoting daily prayer & meditation and the greater unity, fellowship & spiritual vitality of the Nashville area UCC, rotating potluck supper meetings every 4 months among our 4 area UCC’s! Next meeting is Dec 20th @ 5:00 PM at Brookmeade with guest speaker Dr. Tim Downs, chief Conference Minister of the SE UCC Conference! SAVE THE DATE!
ROOFTOP LUNCHEON
The Second Annual Meeting of the Rooftop Congregations will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2008, 12:00 Noon, at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 4715 Harding Rd. Nashville. $10. for a box lunch. The Sexual Assault Center (newly named and relocated) will celebrate 30 years of service to Nashville with an open house on Thursday, November 13, from 11 AM to 1:30 PM. Formerly called the Rape and Sexual Abuse Center, the SAC is located at 101 French Landing Drive in Metro Center. Brookmeade supports the work of the Center financially. Char Creson, Brookmeade member, is a therapist at the Center.
